Rodeo Mexican Grill
The primary dining room is designed to resemble a Campestre - a local roadside eatery where large gatherings and delicious meals are served.
Rodeo Mexican Grill is a family-owned Mexican restaurant on Sunset Blvd in the famed Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. BDG reimagined the restaurant, taking inspiration from its roots in the culture of Jalisco, Mexico: agave plants, Folklorico dances, rodeo dining halls, and, of course, authentic Mexican hospitality. BDG’s design emphasis included full new interior service area, bar and dining rooms, as well as a new façade, signage with custom wrought iron work over service area, open-air patio, windows to the tortilla-making station, custom furniture and Folkloricos: Mexican spinning dresses hung from the newly revealed existing bow truss ceiling, creating a bright and colorful atmosphere.
Custom elements include backlit ceiling beams in a multi directional pattern, cigar wrap wallpaper, custom banquets and shelving for rodeo related items.
