PROGRAM: A 6-acre site that houses 134 family units across 14, two-story buildings, with on-site services such as educational classes, after school programs and special events

LA PUENTE PARK APARTMENTS

The client of this affordable housing complex for families took over the 134 units and hired Bell Design Group to re-imagine the community into a fresh and functional home for its residents. The scope included a complete facade re-design, new unit interiors, new mechanical systems, accessibility improvements, a community room, and extensive landscaping. The City of La Puente was in the midst of revitalization, and this project served as a gateway to the new identity it was seeking. 

The re-syndication and rehabilitation of the property was completed in Spring 2018. The project – the largest of its kind in La Puente –featured a seamless flow of temporary relocation assistance as each building was renovated.
