MARCOS MOLL DE LEON

Marcos brings to BDG a wealth of experience and a deep passion for architecture, shaped by his rich cultural background and diverse upbringing. Born in southern Spain and raised on the island of Mallorca in the Mediterranean Sea, Marcos’s love for architecture was nurtured by the island's stunning landscapes and unique architectural heritage. He further honed his skills by obtaining a Master’s degree in Architecture in Madrid, where his academic and professional journeys began.

With extensive experience working across Europe and the United States, Marcos has developed a versatile architectural perspective. His portfolio spans a wide range of project typologies, including high-end residential, hospitality, multifamily developments, tenant improvements, adaptive reuse, commercial projects, and architectural competitions. These varied experiences have equipped him with the ability to navigate complex projects that demand both technical proficiency and cultural sensitivity. His collaborations with diverse teams have deepened his understanding of the nuanced needs of multicultural communities, allowing him to create spaces that resonate with people from all walks of life.

As the Studio Director for the Spanish office in Madrid, Marcos is dedicated to leading his team in creating functional and inspiring environments. He strives to design spaces that meet the varied needs of his clients, fostering connections and reimagining spaces to enhance daily living. Marcos believes that great architecture is a blend of technical expertise, cultural awareness, and a deep understanding of human needs.

In recognition of his innovative approach to architecture, Marcos was awarded 1st place in the XXI National Competition of Constructive Solutions. Marcos is also a passionate advocate for a healthy lifestyle, enjoying activities such as traveling, hiking, walking, and engaging in various workouts.
