CLARA TRESGALLO
RA, NCARB
Director of Special Projects, Associate
Clara Tresgallo, originally from Puerto Rico, joined Bell Design Group in 2017 and quickly became a leader in its work on affordable housing and hospitality, with a focus on universal design and building accessibility. Her role as the Director of Special Projects has been greatly informed by her prior experience in institutional architecture and her passion for bridging the gap between functionality and luxury. Clara’s interests as an architect and studio mentor stem from a desire to create spaces that are visually stunning yet highly functional for their inhabitants. This includes creating spaces that are accessible to all and enhance the quality of life for the users.
Clara’s education comes from not only a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Design at the University of Puerto Rico and a Master’s Degree in Architecture at California College of the Arts, but also from growing up in the family construction business. Combining advanced design coursework with hands-on practice in the field has shaped her exceptional eye for detail and execution.
Previously published in Evolo Magazine and leading BDG’s offices with events such as the Women’s Retreat, Clara sets a standard of quality and care that infuses the studio, setting BDG’s people and projects up for dynamic success.
