VISTA WOODS APARTMENTS
The Pinole Senior Housing Project, also known as Vista Woods Apartments, is a new development designed by BDG. Vista Woods will offer a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, with rent and income levels ranging between 30% and 80% of the area's median income. The complex will also feature several community areas and more than a half-acre of recreational grounds. Designed with sustainability in mind, the project incorporates drought-tolerant plantings and aims to encourage healthy living among its residents. The project includes a new bus stop, parking, and ride-share to assist seniors who no longer drive from place to place. It's a thoughtful and much-anticipated project to enhance the quality of life for seniors in the Bay Area of Northern California.
Vista Woods Apartments’ design drew inspiration from the colors and textures of the natural surroundings in Pinole and the Bay Area. Color accents throughout the building reference the blues of the San Pablo Bay, greens from Pinole’s wooded landscapes, and gold from California’s iconic hills. Interior and exterior finishes throughout complement the color accents with warmth and texture.
The mix of studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments allows for flexibility of lifestyles while providing full accessibility features for the senior residents. Each apartment features a balcony, in-unit washer/dryer hook-ups, and a dishwasher. Tenant amenities include a variety of indoor and outdoor community areas such as a computer room and a vegetable garden, as well as a fitness room, package delivery rooms, and offices for on-site management staff. The landscape design incorporates a diverse set of outdoor passive and active recreation spaces for residents to encourage healthy living.
